Except right-wing media has been working for a long time to alter opinions of Russia and Putin, apparently to good effect given recent polling on the matter. MAGA will become convinced that Putin is a good guy and Russian control is fine.
Putin will not play this card until Russia's ability to fully take over the U.S. (without firing a shot) is established. Until then, Trump is useful for dismantling U.S. guardrails against takeover or dissolution.

Appreciate the optimism, but if we're smart, Trump's ability to frighten children will last for eternity. Then we will have learned from history.
When the admin will ignore rulings they don't like, I'd argue we *don't* have a functioning judiciary because we don't have a government constrained by law.
There's a huge difference between making rulings and having those rulings obeyed. Functioning law is not stating what the law is; functioning law is effectuating the law, and the judiciary has not been able to do that. It's not their fault.
"The federal judicial system has stepped up over and over for the law" to no effect. "Now it's about opinion", which has been and will be ignored. The sooner we recognize that we no longer have a judiciary that is functioning to remove us from present circumstances, the sooner we imagine remedies.
Lesson learned: do what would impress you.
Unfortunately, very few people have the courage to support public displays of moral rectitude for rectitude's sake. Fewer still can actually make such a display. People will have told her they support her in the after; those people cannot be counted on in the now. Be someone who's available now.
We have been trained to think that confrontation, especially with people in positions of privilege or power, is impolite. It's part of why we are in our current circumstances. Rick Scott thinks he's above this type of interaction. Sadly, many in the cafe probably think he is as well.
I don't want to think about how they may rule on this or that case. Entertaining them as legitimate in any way is a fool's errand. We should be planning how they are countered or how they leave the bench.
