I’m a retired vet and a retired CBP officer. I can’t imagine deploying National Guard troops on city streets or masked federal officer’s rounding up people without a hint of due process. Yes there was a lot of Trump supporters in both the military and CBP but I don’t think they signed for this.

I just returned from visiting Montreal. I was afraid that we would be treated badly but that wasn’t the case. Politics aside, Canadians and Americans are pretty much the same. Politics suck the life out of people.
Our country is teetering on the edge and it will be a struggle, but, God willing, sanity and brotherhood will return someday in the not too distant future.
It was won’t be easy that certain but I have to believe that we can patch things up sooner than later.
