I’ve found enormous success in appreciating vegetarian efforts, & encouraging the final step. I’ve converted more than a dozen people in my circle prompting merely dropping one meat to begin the journey and then coaching forward there after. This method works. The dairy/egg industry is horrendous.

I love #vegan pho but it can tricky to find in a traditional Vietnamese restaurant. In Vancouver B.C., that is not the case. I visited Viet Family based on glowing reviews. Their pho came with tofu, mushrooms, carrot, broccoli, baby corn, and 8 hour broth. It was amazing 9.5/10 good. #veganfood

I think we have failed to be moral agents in both cases. Religion becomes wrong when used as a reason to harm others, humans and other animals included. The same can be said for our cultural norms (our use of animals) that were borne of past necessity, but remain unchanged despite modern times.

Can confirm, I was already a bodybuilder before so a dietary change wasn’t a big deal/challenge for me, but it made me change how I see things.
The cognitive dissonance that comes w animal use is so detrimental to our critical thought processes. I not only deeply loved animals but also worried about the environment fr a very young age, yet I had no idea how much I was falling short on both of those values up until I went vegan.

When I was a meat eater I openly admitted vegans had the moral high ground over me, and that I was simply lazy and greedy (and an alcoholic which numbed my feelings but that’s another story for another day), there is literally no reasonable argument for eating meat
