Exactly this. While I have plenty of ire for Trump and his administration, it's nonsense like this - obvious BS that barely requires a rudimentary capacity for critical thinking - that makes me furious toward so many of my fellow citizens. This stuff falls into the "no brainer" category.
You're 100% correct, but also the OP is calling out the disparity not the reason behind it. i.e. you're both right and the OP isn't necessarily missing anything.
Tedious to point this out, but: - When a tongue-tied Biden said "President of Mexico" instead of "Prez of Egypt," it was a several day story. -Hours after Trump says whoever appointed J Powell made a big mistake (it was him), the episode appears not to merit a story on any national-media sites.
Trump is now being ratio’ed on his own website for telling his supporters to stop caring about the Epstein files.

An observation I've made over the years - if a story makes me care about the characters, I will let A LOT slide in other aspects of the storytelling. Conversely, if I don't care about the characters, everything else can be flawless and it won't matter.

I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE. This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined. It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

I agree, but also think it makes sense that they'd do individual first. It fits nicely with the RP in MMORPG, even if I suspect people who RP in WoW are borderline nonexistent (which I say as someone who used to run an RP guild). But the WoW team definitely clings to this aspect of the game.

I think it's wise to have teachability in mind while designing. If I'm understanding you though, yes I think first time play suggestions are a good consideration. I know as a player I've appreciated them the rare few times I've seen them (in rulebooks).
