Without using names or schools I'm reminded of a guy who adjuncted at 6 different colleges teaching 18 classes online. The whole thing was automated and he never did a thing after publishing the class besides respond to emails. He loves this but I also think he shouldn't be teaching.
My students don't want me to respond with AI responses. We've talked about it. I explain why they need to write for themselves and I need to respond in kind

Nah, standing in line in the hear sucks. Wills Pub and Lil Indies are fun. A lot of the good nightlife has migrated away from downtown a bit. Redlight Redlight is a nice bar that evidently has good food now (I'm going to try it this week acrually)

It would be kind of funny I guess if I weren't concerned that my students can't write a simple paragraph introducing themselves without leaning on AI.
...how I can be the best professor for them this semester. This is where the AI jumped in and provided deep pedagogical theory. Most students just ask for patience or let me know about an anxiety or challenge they have. They don't ask me to provide "inquiry-based learning strategies."

We had a solid group of about 20 to 25 year after year from the USL days and that price raise plus the performance knocked us down to 4... and two of them are my brother and his wife.
Our section and row have been pretty stable for awhile now. But I'm sure other sections have some variation. But ever since they raised STM prices while we had a team that didn't seem to care much it's never been quite the same has it?
