In 21 games with Gazdag the Crew have 31 points. Porter’s last year had 32 points during a similar time period leading up to his eventual firing. There’s a good chance they don’t get 6 points in the final 6 games. The Union must be laughing all the way to the bank.

Also, I don’t want to see Daniel Gazdag starting in the next few games. Enough with this unlock selling job. He adds nothing to this attack and he doesn’t prevent goals.
Keith Naas (@knaas.bsky.social) reply parent
He takes zero risks. For all that talk about Nancy wanting players to reach beyond themselves, Gazdag has done nothing to show that applies to him.

That last six games in 2022 had 1 win, 3 draws and 2 losses. (6 points) Other than Toronto at home, I don’t see games I can confidently see a win. Maybe the Atlanta game on the road.
Keith Naas (@knaas.bsky.social) reply parent
Am I saying that someone needs sacked in 2025? Nope. Not at all. I'm saying that the good times are over and barring a complete change in performance in the last 6 games, this 2025 season will be a massive failure.
Keith Naas (@knaas.bsky.social) reply parent
The attacking high risk, high reward approach is scoring wise, not much different than the season when Caleb Porter was sacked. The defense is worse. The strategy seems to have been found out and with Nagbe out, the team is struggling to fill the hole in the midfield.
Keith Naas (@knaas.bsky.social) reply parent
The 21 game 2025 stretch had 12 multi goal games The 21 game 2022 stretch had 10 multi goal games. It is really hard to look at 2025 and consider this a success by any metric.
Keith Naas (@knaas.bsky.social) reply parent
During that 21 game stretch in 2025, the Crew scored 33 goals and gave up 34. They were scoreless 3 times and held other teams scoreless 2 times. During that 21 game stretch in 2022, the Crew scored 27 goals and gave up 22. They were scoreless 7 times and held other teams scoreless 8 times.
Keith Naas (@knaas.bsky.social)
I know this is totally arbitrary but if we look at the 21 regular season games after the #Crew96 traded for Daniel Gazdag they have 8 wins, 7 draws, and 6 losses (31 points) if we look at the same 21 game range in the 2022 season, they had 7 wins, 11 draws, and 3 losses (32 points)
