At least once a week we get a mailer with a cash offer for our house…which we are not and have not indicated to anyone we are interested in selling. 🙄 Most don’t have a pic of our house though. That’s a nice, personal touch. 😆

Daughter went to Baylor and still lives in Waco. The dilemma is the good kolache places are in West, a town 18 miles from their house. Too close to end of the road to stop and too soon after starting trip home to stop. But the kolache places keep getting better, so the siren call is much louder!
Kolaches are a favorite in central Texas Czech communities. They make them all — savory, fruit, cheese, meat. Haven’t had one that I didn’t 😋 😋😋😋

When I worked in northeast KC, there was an auto repair shop who a lot of us took our cars to bc they did good work. But at about half the price of every other mechanic around. Figured they were a mob front.

To me the last point about producing two more quality rosters is key. Let’s water down ALL the MLB bullpens by adding 16 more bullpen player spots to be filled. Think about the guys your team brought into the bullpen this year who couldn’t cut it. They’d be staying. Same with bats, defense, etc.

Fill-in umps move from AAA to MLB all the time to cover for umps illnesses, injuries, vacations, etc. I read that the crew chief of each AAA crew is eligible for call-ups to MLB. So being crew chief there is a stepping stone to MLB permanent crews.
We were there, too, but with friends we don’t see often. And both rarely take a breath between thoughts, so it was non-stop conversation with baseball interspersed. I didn’t even open Bluesky at the K. Nice win!
