I especially want to hear about this potentially from parents, of any age but especially those who are able to read but not old enough to understand.
We’ve let it slide in the past, asking to censor more intense/taboo words like “f*ggot” or “tr*nny”, but it’s like… when does it become “too nsfw?” Where is the line? Images are one thing, but text? It’s hard to say.
As a leader of a convention in a red state, and as a strong lover of AD spaces, i want to try and uplift nsfw artwork in the right spaces while also keeping the DD/AA sfw/all ages. But i get conflicted about this topic, especially with how strict our con is on the matter.
Genuine question to (mostly furry) convention attendees: is seeing sexual words like “horny,” “cum,” “sexy,” on merch… TOO nsfw for an all-ages dealers den? Think of it in the context of people/children of all ages are present, possibly even press. 🧵

the thing about working with sped kids is it's a lot of fun but exhausting. that being said though i don't think i can see myself working in a typical classroom ever again.
