The combination of overweight and unfit is really hitting hard on my first visit to the bouldering centre in weeks.
It's the manner as much as the players themselves for me. Obviously if this lot were gathered early there'd be a definite sense of underwhelment, but I'm not sure there would be the anger we're now seeing. It feels like this won't be forgotten regardless of future results.
The first way potentially avoids bruising the fruit. I wouldn't bother personally.

Not much to disagree with there. I think our risk averse strategy has always been based around 'cover 2 seasons out the CL', and it used to broadly be CL = profit, EL = break even. I think EL is now loss territory, and that's a bit worrying going forward.

I'd argue that would be now. Over the last couple of seasons I think he's been sloppy on a number of occasions and not necessarily when trying something high risk/high gain.
Hot take: once players reach testimonial stage they should retire or be sold. I'm a bit bored of CalMac and Forrest. Maybe even 4 seasons max, keep it fresh #celtic

There are less teams where you'd think it's a guaranteed 3pts than in the CL imo. Less glamorous but actually more competitive.
