I remember that. Until the Ice Cube version came out that BBC version was by far the worst version. Sometimes being “accurate” ain’t always the best idea. Look at Starship Troopers, the sequels tried to be more like the novel and people hated them.
The last BBC version was placed in the accurate time setting . . . . and it was considered one of the worst adaptations until the new Ice Cube version. I remember watching it. It was awful.

ROH is way too niche to ever get a tv deal let alone a good one. I enjoy what I see of ROH but it’s never been priority tv for me or most fans.
