I still have the local food basics labelling apples as on strip when the stickers on the apples say USA. Told them multiple times ... No action. Also why are stores promoting sales on US products in their flyers??? Disgusting.

To protect and support Canadian retailers and in response to the US ending of de minimus it's time for Canada to also end its de minimus exemption. Though it is only $20/$40, it is a loophole used by Amazon sellers and Chinese online sellers to underdeclare values to get free entry to Canada.
