I remember reading a mango shaped space by Wendy Mass, and now im reading a collab called the lost library with Wendy Mass and Rebecca Stead. it's predictable, but not in a way where I want to stop reading. the characters are so sweet and warm, and the multiple perspectives is super insightful!

finished chainsaw man vol 1 and tokyo ghoul re: vol 3 and idk why but I feel nothing for these. TGR3 had too many scenes moving at the same time and there was no distinction between the fights so it became hard to follow, and CSM1 just...too sexual for no reason? im skeptical of reading the second.
I think quite a number of commenters missed that part

oh my gosh! you are such a trooper not doing grids! I can't visualize it (sometimes I can't even visualize it with the grid lol). yes! it's a water-soluble marker from Michaels (not sure if you're in the US). It's called Loops and Threads™️ Washout Marking Pen. Im sure there are other brands, too!

her brother being understanding - that addiction should be treated carefully and with basic needs being met to reduce life stress that often makes people use. I'm glad that the sisters redeveloped their relationship but I wish we had seen it. it felt strange that it was miraculously mended
what i did appreciate was the portrayal of addiction. relationships do get strained and end up no contact for some people. that desire to use when things get progressively more stressful and unbearable. it's unsurprising that she almost relapsed after not finding her dad. what was surprising was
what doesn't fully make sense to me is what brought him to that place. I dont get the sense there was abuse or neglect by the parents so it wasnt the desire for control in a life that was uncontrollable. did he just have ASPD? psychopathic tendencies and behaviors? not sure 🤨
I have no doubt in my mind that he killed his own girlfriend. it was no freak accident. he didnt have care and compassion but a drive for recognition, control, and greed. if you stepped out of the line, he put you back in the line or took you permanently out of the line.
when one of the sister's said "they didnt have the kind of money for that" it was screaming *pay him off, keep him quiet and content, and everything will be okay.* it was the way the father was distraught and evasive about why he was burying bodies. he wasn't guilty, he was trapped.
him not wanting to bring things to the police?? like... girl come on 🥴 what tipped me off and sealed the deal was the video about Michael getting the brand new computer. it wasn't odd that the perfect child got something expensive. it was odd the way the camera was zooming in "on the father"
as soon as the brother Michael was described as the perfect child in the family who had run to california for a wealthier life, I started getting the inkling it was him. him coming back, being overly generous with his money, beating his sister's dealer to a pulp, and paying him off...
