Yes they understand. That is why they are doing it. They are breaking the entire system all at once which will lead to many people dying and becoming homeless. It is by design.

😂 I was just thinking that for many of us, self care does not mean a spa day or a walk in the woods. It is literally caring for our selves. Being fed, watered, rested, clean are at times a tall order.

This is a person who does not know who they are and is buffeted by all that crosses their path. This describes a person with no sense of self. How do you find out who you are if you are always comparing yourself to others? Focusing on what you don't have is the path to misery.
Just what do people think our lives are like, ffs. We are often in constant pain and have very limited resources. We are not out there living the high life. Too many think that is the only life worth living. Even if you are healthy it is an unrealistic bar.

There is no denying that is true of far too many. But there are larger forces operating, that manipulate that "viewpoint". It is always a class war. It is always about the money. Who has it and who doesn't and all that it means.

I understand. I just think it is an easy trap to fall into. But it demonizes people, which is the exact thing we are saying isn't ok. It is easy to hate hateful people. I sure haven't figured out how not to, which is why I try to be careful with language.
