I understand your perspective but the mocking is effective. They’re pointing out the insanity that Trump has leaned into for almost 2 decades. Should it be this way? No. Is it taking back some emotional power for the majority? I think it does and love it.
I think there is value in showing just how insane it looks when a major political leader posts like that, because the general attitude to Trump doing it seems to be, "well yeah, he's just like that." But I think the point has been made and there's no reason to keep doing it.
