I had a friend in college with that body type. She could fit three fingers between her bra strap and belly button. Funny thing, we had all the same usual measurements except for inseam. She was all legs, and I’m ridiculously long-torso’d. Even if people wear the same thing, it doesn’t look the same

I taught college math, and for a long time taught the math to help students catch up to where they needed to be to start college algebra. I saw so many mathematically traumatized students. I was actually pretty good at helping those students with the emotional work they needed to do about math /1

My son’s friend wore a duck rider costume like that for Halloween last year, and he had trouble moving around in it, not even trying to dance OR skate. That kid worked hard and deserves special costume awards!

Have done this with paint samples, the old school way: put one scoop of each color into a paper cup, mix well, paint onto a piece of cardboard or something, and take to the paint store to be color matched.

I have the paradoxical response, and my son doesn’t. There was one weekend day where I gave him his meds at noon because it was clear he couldn’t do what I was asking (clean his room maybe?) without them. At his bedtime, he was crying bc his body was so tired and he couldn’t sleep. I felt so bad!

Honestly, grocery prices have skyrocketed here in the last few years, and fast food/low-end restaurants haven’t increased nearly as much. So it’s not really that takeout is cheap, but the grocery store chains have been bleeding us dry and the relative difference in price isn’t as much.
