โฆmainly due to Mumโs mobility issues. She seems to be very discombobulated at the moment too. Think itโs stress. She could do with seeing GP for counselling / CBT but personally Iโd also recommend a low dose of antidepressants, but she wants to avoid that. We are hanging about til she gets hereโฆ
Mum was due to leave Wales yesterday but her car broke down (in car park fortunately). A massive faff later, she ended up staying with sis + fam while it was fixed. Iโd gone back home am so Mr P and I had to hot-foot it back to hers last night to catsit another night. House hunt was not a successโฆ

I can only imagine, knowing her poor mobility, negativity + the chip she seems to carry - such a worry. Think sis has only recently seen her like this. I lived with it and it triggers me.

It was. Itโs also a very hard part of loving them - doing the best by them so they donโt suffer at the end. You *definitely* did your best. I do know how difficult it is not to feel guilty in some way for signing that paper, the realisation that we canโt save them. Letting go feels horrible.
Thatโs the hardest part in a wayโฆ that โlack of presenceโ which feels so strong still. Be kind to yourselves x

So, Iโm at Mumโs for a few days while she house hunts in Wales. I am meant to be cat-sitting. I am sitting (working) but there is as yet no cat and it has just started raining! ๐
4 years ago I got married after thinking I likely never would given my past romantic unsuccesses. We actually knew each other at uni (but I was infatuated with someone else!)โฆ if youโd told me then weโd end up together I would laughed! Life is a funny thing.

Thanks all - and sorry you know what these things are like. Ugh. I feel much better for a snooze and the dull headache seems to have lifted. Mr P says Iโm really bad at taking screen breaks and Iโve worked a lot of extra time in the last two weeks. Iโll have to keep an eye on my bad habits.

Now drinking some more water and took 2 paracetamol as instructed. About to have a nap. The zig zag aura thing has worn off. Anyone else ever had that? In other news, apparently the ambulance was queued up for 137 call-outs!!!!!!!!!!! No way would I have allowed one to come to โcheck me overโ ๐๐ฑ.
Then a nice guy rang from the ambulance service to triage me and we agreed to him not sending an ambulance (I didnโt think it was that serious?). He spent a lot of time chatting with me. Think I am probably dehydrated, tired and had been looking at my screen too longโฆ yay, me.
Yikes. I am not a headachy person but earlier felt very dizzy & started getting zig zag flashing lines in my vision. Made me feel very disorientated / nauseous. Had a look online and was recommended to call 111. After a short convo they decided to send an ambulance to check me over. ๐ณ
Itโs supposed to be 34ยฐC today but currently raining with lightning and the odd rumble. Hopefully it will clear some of the humidity.
