Genocide has changed me from afar. Existence is fundamentally tinged with death in a way it wasn’t before. I can’t be shocked or disturbed or moved by news of political violence, because I close my eyes and see images of teens cut in half by missiles. All violence is measured against atrocity, now.
Watching Palestinians mutilated, starved, and exploded for two years has really taken the bite out of hearing of oligarchs (or their pundits) being assassinated. Like I know it’s big, but my emotional processing is just so inundated with constant horror I can’t muster more than a numb “oh damn”
We do disagree though. You contend that if religious motivations were removed, the situation would be resolved. But religion is not the only motivating factor in Zionism. Racism, resource imperialism, and colonial expansion all play equally (if not more) significant roles.
It makes no sense to speak about Zionism as only a matter of religion, when what it entails is colonization of land and subjugation of peoples, obvious political projects (that just so happen to be backed by most of the Western world for reasons of resource imperialism).

You are disagreeing with established historical fact. Zionism is a modern extremist movement motivated by racism and land-hunger, and it disrupted a prevailing peace between Arabs and Jewish people in the region in 1948. Religion plays a role in Zionist fascism but is not its essential feature.

It's to classify non-medically transitioned trans people as being, within their gender/sex, "less trans" than medically transitioned trans people. That's misgendering. It delimits the person's gender/sex, over and against their own identity. It re-subjects them to gender essentialism.

Nazi eugenics was considered progressive in its day. They’ll find themselves adopting similar values before they ever consider backing true change. Hell they already have. As long as they get to feel powerful and in charge. Everything else about them is just to rationalize that need.
Their core issue has always been how to preserve the status quo (their privilege) while getting to feel morally superior and “progressive” about it. Now their privilege is threatened, they’ll allow themselves to redefine what’s moral and progressive however the status quo demands.
