Just finished The Thursday Murder Club. Absolutely lovely little film that has a bunch of great actors having fun, all wrapped up in a late 80s tone. I am unsurprised to find out it was directed by Chris Columbus.

That said, *now* you're leaving money on the table if a KDH sequel doesn't get a theatrical run. (And Netflix hates theatrical runs.)
The opportunity cost of $13-20 a pop to watch and rewatch for something new in theaters is different from being able to tell folks it's on Netflix, or just being able to load it up and listen to Golden again on a whim.
I think the KDH Singalong over Weapons 2nd is definitely going to happen, even with one major theater chain not participating. I will say, my theory is you wouldn't be able to get here if KDH wasn't available on streaming in the first place. deadline.com/2025/08/kpop...
