Looking over the Epstein book messages, I'm struck by how comfortable everyone was with compiling something like this, contributing to it, and receiving it. Something most people with common sense would avoid like the plague. But the super-rich and powerful know how insulated they are.
The way we've been doing things, even the ways we've been winning, are no longer enough. We need to build our collective power, but crucially, we need to get comfortable with taking it back and actually using it. It's an uphill climb but a necessary one.

My husband is white and went to an all black college,NSU, in the 70s. He was one of 5 white students. It worked both ways. He was a DEI. I have friends that didn’t know you could go to a black college and get a free ride if you are white. Of course not anymore.
