Yes but it’s more than that. Whatever the US does, particularly under Trump and his incompetents, so too does part of the world. The danger to human health is certainly bleeding into Canada and beyond. As a Canadian, I profoundly resent those who voted this administration in.

I'm in Ottawa. Very sorry for all citizens who bike in this city. It could be beautiful, there's space, but I have seen several death traps where the bike lane just ends and you have to merge into traffic. Oh, they added a green bike drawing or a yellow sign that says "share the road", ok thanks!
