I bet you can find examples of this kind of language among state and local elected officials in very liberal areas. Probably see it used with some national dems again from very liberal districts (Cori bush saying birthing people has already been cited in your responses) but at senate level ?
Honestly of the terms on that list food insecurity bugs me the least but I get the point. I do think changing terms like that sanitizes issues, making them more clinical and less human. Makes it harder for ppl to connect with issues and then gets used as a purity test among certain people

I'm sorry you had bad experiences with some members and family, but you can't pin their interpretation of the temple covenants or even what certain church leaders have said in the past about what those covenants mean on people and say they are oath breakers
I disagree, there is nothing explicit in the LDS temple covenants that requires members to turn against others at the drop of the hat. It is all about how it is framed. So to say someone who is liberal is "untrustworthy" because they made Temple covenants is just a bad-faith argument.
