(just as an aside, the battery from the original mower still works perfectly. I wasn’t able to buy one without a battery just because of exigencies and I really couldn’t be spending time looking for a mower. I needed to buy another one in haste at the point when the other mower’s blade motor died.)

The blade motor finally died a few weeks ago, purchased another Ego (same platform; 21 inch), works like a charm. I’m not someone who enjoys doing this. I like physical work and being outside, but, I am not.… This is not for me.
This is my 19th summer as a homeowner; small front yard long backyard on a hill (which sucks). Had a craftsman gas mower for the first 11 years; got an Ego seven years ago. I am a weekly mower, from at some point in March till some point in October.

Every review I’ve read or personal opinion I’ve seen of this tour has been equally as genuinely fulsome. I remember sitting on the floor in my bedroom in 1983 - I was 9 - listening to “In 3-D” and loving every minute. (I was already a fan from “Another One Rides the Bus” and “I Love Rocky Road”.)
