hi. the US has never stopped being a nation of colonisers. Natives who are not formally recognised by the federal govt do not enjoy any protections or support, and the federal govt still refuses to honour treaties made with Native peoples they *do* recognise. actions speak louder than words.
we owe Natives reparations for the centuries of crimes we committed against them. when's that happening? all of the land controlled by the federal government, companies, and private individuals belongs to Natives. the national park system was created to maintain the govt's theft of their land.
