I had a chicken beat me at tic-tac-toe on the boardwalk when I was a kid, but I wouldn't elevate that particular poultry for a "one-off" but this is the internet age and people get famous for far less. I guess it's a shame that chicken was born too soon, or maybe I was just born too late. 🤔

Beautiful place to stay! I love my front yard, but Winter is coming, and when you are as far back and as far UP as we are it is more enjoyable to travel in the sun than fight 6ft snow drifts for months and months...when I don't have to anymore.
Oh, we have the big cats, and I have heard their unmistakable screams, but thank goodness they stay away. We do, however, have their smaller #cat cousins all around...especially when the dogs and I are gone.
I have a marine safety airhorn I keep by the backdoor for the same except only used it for bears, so far...thank goodness. Works better than anything! Thanks
