I read that an executive who was talking with the Sox said he felt their were monetary restrictions put on Breslow. Be interesting if any truth to that.
I’ve really liked how Duran has hit in the three hole. Sox don’t really have a deep lineup and losing Duran would hurt that lineup. At least that’s how I see it.

Love listening to the chatter on NESN pre-game. I heard maybe trying to upgrade at 1B is something to look at. When Casas went down I looked at other teams 1B’s and was surprised their isn’t a lot of options better than the Romy-Toro combo. Not a lot of power hitting 1B’s compared to years past.
just watched the series w/ Boston & some of the Nationals players lacked hustle. LF especially a couple times was lazy going after a fly ball of which one should have been caught. The team also missed out on opportunities to have a runner go from first to third on a base hit. Lazy team.
