I get that the economic effects are the biggest concern for most people and those have not been good. So if somehow the economy turns around will people overlook all the harm done to individuals and decide Trump is competent after all?
Most of the examples listed are intentional actions taken in service of anti-immigrant, racist, xenophobic, and anti-science views. They are doing it fairly efficiently and successfully so far. Do you think ineptitude is really the right word for what people don't like about it?

This is absolutely devastating - the NIH hospital called ICE about a patient on a patient seeking care. Sadly, this is, yet, one of countless examples of health care settings being extensions of the carceral state. As health care workers, it our duty to do no harm, to protect our patients.
