In both OpenAI and Anthropic's cases, revenue acceleration comes with a massive acceleration of costs. Even if they grow at these rates, even if they succeed at hitting their projections, they are running businesses that burn billions of dollars *after* revenue. www.wheresyoured.at/howmuchmoney/

I Have Material Concerns About Anthropic's Revenue Acceleration — and The Financial Health of Both OpenAI and Anthropic I have done my best to outline in this piece how much OpenAI will have to do to get to its supposed $12.7 billion revenue projection, and while I believe it's possible it will do so, it will have to sell more software than anyone has sold before, and to progress to its next projections, will have sell even more software than that, crushing Spotify, and eventually Netflix. I'm honestly not sure how it does it, but there is at least, to an extent, some sort of path. This is no gauge of its likelihood, either — just that I can look at OpenAI and say And, even if it does manage to hit its projections, it’s unclear whether the fundamentals of the business will allow it to support that growth. OpenAI burns more than it brings in, and to an insanely comical extent, and that burn scales with its growth. If it grows to a point where it scales beyond what it can afford to meet, in terms of compute (either because of a lack of availability, or because it simply can’t pay for the cost of these services), we’ll see that play out with service interruptions, or degraded models, or outages. And that’ll, in turn, reverse the gains it previously made. The NYT Dealbook piece notes that OpenAI’s “the number of business users who pay for ChatGPT has reached five million, up from three million just a few months ago.” I’m assuming this refers to those who are paying for large, per-seat packages, rather than those paying for the cheaper ChatGPT packages. And so, I imagine those enterprise customers are going to be those most shielded from any disruption, despite those paying for the cheaper packages accounting for the bulk of its overall paid userbase. Anthropic on the other hand is far, far more troubling. I have also outlined what I believe to be the causes behind Anthropic's revenue growth, and also why I don't think this growth is sustainable. I will also be honest with you — Anthropic's revenue growth doesn't make any sense for the kind of company it is or the products it sells, which is why I have laid out why I think it’s done so by screwing its customers over, adding tolls to its enterprise customers and using mob-like tactics to keep them paying, and luring in consumers with a product that it had no intention of providing long term. Even then, these revenue jumps aren't simply ridiculous — they are without comparison.

Because he's a correspondent for the christian propaganda network CBN, used to be Oliver North's camera man. His report from "inside" Gaza that you posted doesn't show anything from Gaza except a bunch of crates and unverifiable statements inbetween his gold hawking. Pure IDF propaganda.

The law hasn't been changed, Zelensky said he would propose changes. Let's hope it happens. If there's one thing Ukraine needs for other countries to keep support them (and for democracy, domestic support) it's credible action against corruption. Corruption kills countries, look at Russia.

Israel doesn't allow foreign journalists into Gaza. Reporters have only been able to enter Gaza under Israeli military escort and with strict rules on their reporting. Worthless.

What kind of question is that? I am confident that the Kyiv Independent - after all their reporting in the years since Russia's invasion - is pretty firmly on the Ukrainian side. You seem to think otherwise?

If you're worried about ChatGPT taking your job, here is their "agent" spending 6 minutes to try and make a reservation at a Thai restaurant - literally any Thai restaurant in Brooklyn- only to completely break. Powerful AI is amazing. We live in the future

Sure! I'll look into available reservations for Thai restaurants in Brooklyn at 7 PM on Monday, July 28, 2025. I'll search for options and let you know what I find. Worked for 6 minutes > I found an available reservation at Nourish Thai (637A Vanderbilt Ave, Prospect Heights) for Monday, July 28, 2025 at 7:00 PM for two people. According to the restaurant's OpenTable listing, the hours of operation on Mondays are 12 PM-4 PM and 5 PM-10 PM opentable.com , So a 7 PM booking fits well within their dinner service. OpenTable is currently showing a 7 PM time slot available for a two-person reservation on that date opentable.com . I've started the reservation on OpenTable and the booking form is open. To complete it, OpenTable requires a contact phone number or email address for confirmation. Could you please provide whichever you'd like to use and let me know if you want to receive marketing emails/text reminders? Once I have that information, I can finalize the booking for you. > Test@edzitron.com { image image

In 1988 Umberto Eco wrote Foucault's Pendulum. The plot is: a bunch of guys working at a self-publisher house, for fun, take their huge crackpot and crank slush pile and jam it all together using a simple markov chain program written in BASIC. They create a Grand Unified Conspiracy Theory.

How many times do we have to remind people: the chatbot *cannot* admit to *anything*. It *doesn't know*. When you ask it about itself, it generates its answer the same way it generates your request that it write an email. It takes what you tell it and responds in way to sound plausible.
