I am a firm believer in there being at least two intakes annually to reduce the difference between oldest and youngest class mates. Or formal academic education not starting till after the 7th birthday. The Finns do that and they come out the other end as proficient as other nations.

Yep. A Sept child starting school is almost 25% older, bigger with better hand-eye coordination and more confident than an Aug born peer. The gap does close but it's an advantage that carries through school. Month of birth for professional sports people show a similar bump in Sept born athletes.

4. Why is the school allowing/making kids without lunch or the means to buy it sit and watch other kids eat. That is a welfare issue against the school in itself. They should make sure every child has lunch regardless of means or provide alternative arrangements at mealtimes for these kids.

GF foods for coeliacs aren't lower in carbs. They normally replace gluten containing grains for non gluten grains of about the same carb content plus a load of ultra-processed additives to mimic the texture and feel of the gluten containing product. They are sh*t.

It's probably a case of if the hotel stops selling rooms, meals and drinks to the public and only accommodates homeless and asylum seekers that's a change of use. If the council books a few rooms as emergency accommodation in an otherwise open to the public hotel it's still a hotel.

UK? I find GF in-store or online with Tesco, Asda etc. can be hit or miss so I use Ocado once every 6/8 weeks to stock up. Because they don't have shoppers clearing shelves they tend to know what they will have available at the time they are picking your order so they are more reliable.
