When you get to a certain age you find yourself re-reading the books you loved when you were young and I recently turned back to Arnold Bennett’s novels, set in England’s Potteries. I decided to read an online bio of the great man and came across this misprint, which is too good not to share.
I never run but I adore Murakami’s writings and devoured this book when it first came out in translation. I passed it on to a neighbour who regularly competed in marathons around the world but was not a great reader. I think it went down well.
