Art is for the everyday person. It can be done in the smallest moments before and between work. Doodle in the margins of your notes. Draw your lunch on your break. Sew old T-shirts together to make a blanket. Art has a place in your life, outside of a gallery. #caturday #creativity
“God?” Nope, just a Blink camera looking dead at me. I said hi, finished my drawing, and went on my way. As I walked away, the camera goes in a woman’s voice “Have a great day!” so of course I wished it one too. I’m pretty happy with my sketch but pretty worried I’ll be all over next door 😅
I’m so sure I’m going to see my face on NextDoor later today. I went for a walk, found a closed business with rocking chairs on the porch, and thought, “perfect spot to draw”. Halfway through drawing their sign, I suddenly hear a deep grumbling voice above me.

Collage empty grocery boxes. Art is for the everyday person. It can be done in the smallest moments.

I heard that making tiny pieces of art helps. Something that takes only an hour to complete. 1 hr a day for a week is 7 pieces of art. Then you can sell those if you wish or revel in your quantity. Whatever your goal is

I’m so proud of myself! In July, I drew every day for 24 days. I went from “I haven’t drawn in 5 years” to this! And I’ve drawn almost ever since then. If not drawing, I’m at least making something. Yay!

Your anxiety doesn’t mean something is wrong with you. It does mean that there is a point of tension between you and a task. That point of tension would need to be identified in order to lessen said tension
