Last night, I watched the Devo documentary on Netflix. It was very well done and I learned a lot about them. Definitely have a new appreciation for the band and the ideas they were trying to convey to the public.

I remember him making this exact same point during the playoff selection last season. Apparently, Herbie doesn’t understand this is sports and wins/losses do matter.
There’s a lot about the Super Bowl that will never be OK with. Specially, the one-sided officiating.
As much as I didn’t know that Jerome Bettis is from Detroit.

I’m not gonna lie. I cringed upon hearing the announcement of Matt Patricia’s hiring as OSU DC. First off, outside of their time assisting Belichick, his students have not fared well outside his coaching purview. After the disappointment, my thought was “This will not end well”.

Qualifying my take regarding the Dolphins somewhat. I forgot to factor in they are part of the AFC East-Where The Jets, Patriots reside. They also play the Colts, Browns, Panthers to start this season. Still wonder if McDaniel makes it for the season. At the end, that’s why they play the games.

The Defector is an excellent publication. However, I do miss the old school Deadspin. I must’ve gone to their website several times a day & appreciated the diverse topics covered that went beyond sports many times.
I had Castle Grayskull when I was a kid. Definitely dreamed of having the USS Flagg but like a lot of families it was beyond our means. Masters of the universe, G.I. Joe Transformers, and yes M.A.S.K. 80s toys were great!

I feel that way about college football as well even with ESPN holding many of the rights, including the playoff. You got the ESPN DTC, Fox One, Paramount plus, Peacock. Maybe missing a few though. I am a cord cutter and Linear TV is not an option.

I did one of my very first standalone post on BlueSky regarding the Grand Canyon Lodge It is a very special place to me. Over the last 20 years, I’ve had three stints working there for a total of four seasons the last being 2019. This absolutely breaks my heart and I feel for the displaced staff.

I have a bigger idea. How about AEW doing an all women’s pay-per-view? They have the talent & I believe Tony would treat the idea with the respect it deserves. This proposed PPV would not be counter programming fodder unlike the other place.
I like Bayley, but can we please stop with the fantasy booking. Much like Kevin Owens; Bayley is not going anywhere. WWE will meet her asking price. I would love to see her in AEW, but they will be fine without her. I’m happy to see that she is supporting other wrestling promotions besides WWE.

Life is indeed full of choices Not sure what the difference was with the contract offers. Was somewhat surprised they went to WWE It seems like alot of their talent end up in the exact same spot. The mid card as enhancement talent. Personally, I would’ve chosen Wembley & The Bucks over SmackDown

Curious as to why ESPN has somewhat did a 180 on adding AEW content back to their website? Unless I’m mistaken, a lot of their on air talent is in the WWE camp already. They are also business partners as well. Honestly, I am fine with ESPN ignoring us and staying in their WWE silo.
I don’t know about underappreciated, but “Under the Pink” is my favorite primarily because the album contains two of my favorite songs by Tori. “Cornflake Girl” & “God” These songs are like earworms to me. Basically, I hear them and they are playing in my head for about a week.
Very disappointing! I was looking forward to the continuation of the Dexter prequel. I watched the first season and thought it was really well done. In fact, I enjoyed the prequel more than the current reboot of the show. Must be the doing of the new paramount owners.

No worries from me. AEW for life! This is a silly thing to think about, but what if WWE fans view overspending on their product as a status symbol? Like buying an overpriced cars, clothes, etc We should all remember overspending on goods or services doesn’t always translate to buying quality.

I don’t care if someone wrote a check I’m not entirely convinced Fitzgerald did not know the hazing was going on in that locker room or even if he was willing to address it Unfortunately, the bullying culture will always ingrained and prevalent starting as early as preschool.

As a Gen Xer who’s 1st experiences to professional wrestling were ESPN in The 80s and conversely, Saturday nights on TBS throughout the 80s, I absolutely love the Outrunner gimmick. Keep up the great!
Part of me is hoping Big Stoke channels Bobby Heenan’s neck brace gimmick of the late 80s and continues with the arm sling, crutches, etc into the foreseeable future. Heenan milked that bit for least a year or two. 
No argument from me. Alice In Chains is my favorite band of all time. I still find myself listening to their songs either on Sirius XM or while having a cocktail on Apple Music. Honestly, I don’t really have a favorite song & just enjoy all of it. Great stuff!
I’ve been a big fan of Nigel since the Old School Ring of Honor Days. It’s too bad health issues derailed his career. I saw McGuinness wrestle for ROH in October 2007 at the Cow Palace against Jay Briscoe for the world title. Great matching, great show. Danielson was on the card as well.

Looks like a cool show! AC/DC, Queensrÿche, and The Black Crows are the acts that interests me the most. Honestly, in the late 80s I was more of a Hit Parader magazine fan. I remember waiting for the newest issue to come out. This was before the Internet took off.
