You can over gerrymander. If you create too many red, leaning districts, the margin of error, shrinks, and in a blue wave if you can end up losing more seats, I wonder if this is where things are at for Texas.

Actually, there was probably 2% GDP tied to pre-buying to avoid future tariffs. So if you strip that out, the economy would have actually shrunk not grown. That’s an effect of all the chaos aside from the tariffs.
