Some people allow themselves to be consumed by fear and hate. People that voted for trump accept that those small differences are all that matter to them. Born out of willful ignorance, they prefer the small power they feel when terrorizing others to the true freedom of live and let live.
Led to vaccines. Many, many, many more lives saved. If we're counting.
I see yet another iteration of reality TV. Hoarders: Billionaire Bros. Or maybe a competition between musk and the egg carton lady. I'll put my money on her. Because we don't have enough useless programming to watch while the world burns.
The billionaires will also lose when they bring society down. After all, it was society that created them and allowed them to hoard.

I'd struggled with this fact myself. I left a group because people were vocally pro-trump in meetings. That is not healthy spiritual discourse in general and there is nothing spiritually positive about trump. Progress, not perfection is the best I can come up with.

I think that's probably true, but it was not enough to help prevent trump 2.0. These people run on negative feelings. Some major failure that hurts lots of people needs to be definitively linked to trump's incompetence and then run on a loop for weeks at a time. Everywhere.

Simple logic dictates that while all Christ's teachings are from biblical texts, not all biblical texts align with Christ's teachings. And they don't tend to exclude anyone from "thy neighbor", at least not in Christ's teachings.
"Biblical texts" aren't the same thing as Christ's teachings. There's not much dissonance between "love thy neighbor as thyself" and "blessed are the peacemakers", amongst numerous other examples of what Jesus Christ purportedly said.
I'm not sure who decides official definitions of these things, but calling yourself a Christian and following the teachings of Jesus Christ are not the same thing.

Dear Leader, It’s tough to “be cool” when I’ve seen how it will “work out” for the 3,739 people who have been gunned down in America this year.
