I love chicken. I "could" eat fried chicken every day. I usually air fry mine. I also do turkey patties and fish. Well if I ever see it on sale like that again I might grab a few. Not sure I'll ever see it again however.
I stopped buying red meat years ago mostly because of the price. I can get a 10 lb bag of chicken leg quarters for less than $8, so thats where a lot of my protein comes from. In July our Grocery Outlet had rib eyes for $5.99 for 10 oz. Thinking now maybe I should of gotten some of them.
Son in law had to go to Boise for training for his job. Doggos had to stay at boarding vet while fam was gone. They took the dogs to the doggy car wash when they picked them up. Dogs.. not at all impressed with any of it.
🤣 I did make a comment on that. Maybe thats where it came from. Someone even asked me something about if I'd vote for someone who had nazi tats etc just because they had a D behind their name or something similar. I just rolled my eyes and didn't even bother to engage the troll.

But it started off as something similar. All of the cards were addressed to a Lola Hall, from the same people who apparently traveled all over and sent Lola cards from their travels. It really was interesting and kind of voyeuristic to read the messages to Lola on all the cards.
Years ago in an antique store I found a postcard in a stack that I wanted. The clerk said I could have the entire stack for like $20. I just wanted the one. After some back and forth I ended up walking out with the entire collection, and an addiction was born. I now have 1500-2000 cards I think.
I have done stuff like that. Most of the time I have a lean protein and a veggie, but every so often I just fix something like rice with gravy and follow it with something dipped in Nutella. It's all about the balance.

Nickled and dimed to death... My most recent internet bill went up $2. I got a notice from my electric co that because I'm in the lowest (most efficient) my bill will go up $12 a month while the med and high users will get a lower bill. WTF? I use less so I pay more? Then there are groceries..
