I skipped 3 but when they announced 4 I was thinking I might be willing to jump back in. Then I tried Tiny Tina's Wonderlands and it reminded me why I stopped liking the series. The writing was exhausting and the combat felt... rough?

Finally finished Clair Obscur last night. Turns out everyone was right: it is very French! Did almost everything the game has to offer, found all the stuff, did all the things, but I think I’ll leave Simon for those who come after.

I wanna start Clair Obscur but I’m trying to finish up Doom: Dark Ages first. The problem is that I’ve gotten level-breaking bugs in 2 different levels that forced me to restart each one after more than 3/4 through. Don’t wanna shelf it with only a few levels left but the momentum is gone.
I missed tonight’s stream but I have been thinking about the name Alvin Flang and “Pizzafaced Cinderblock” regularly since Dan streamed it last. It’s truly a masterpiece of modern cinema.

I was a big fan of the '94 version. When they remade it in 2020, I was pretty excited, but quickly realized that it was a train wreck and didn't understand a lot of the choices they made. So I actually went in and re-edited the entire series and fixed it.
Watching Wet Hot directly after any of those movies on the right side would be a wild, but necessary, palette cleanser.
