There is NO reason to continue abusing animals. Being an omnivore hun does not mean having to eat a corpse... it means eating PROTEIN. I have been Vegan over 25 years, and I eat protein, plentiful in plants. I don't need to eat a rotting, dead animal that was horribly abused to get protein.

The guns need regulation? It is too easy for people to obtain guns in the US so how would guns be regulated other than through the sellers? A small percentage of rampage killers do have mental illnesses... most tend to be nihilists.
I meant with my comments. Stephen King is right though... but there is too much pushback from gun makers, the NRA, groups who support gun ownership so I don't know how a gun seller can be made to check for mental illness. I don't know how that can ever happen.

It won't end and there is nothing the people in the US can do to stop them. The fixation on guns in that country and the ease at obtaining them makes it impossible to prevent any of these shootings. Making it harder to buy guns is one step, but not enough because of the pushback from the NRA.

I suggest you read the 2nd Amendment again and understand this ruling as well: the Supreme Court has affirmed this (2nd Amendment) protects an individual's right to possess firearms for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense.

LOL... and do you think writing legislation to ban those will end mass shootings? Most mass shooting, just FYI, are done with handguns. When these people use larger weapons (like yesterday), the news jumps on those stories so everyone believes those are always the weapons used... but they are not.
It is the 2nd Amendment that is the issue. The NRA and groups who support that Amendment create roadblocks to writing legislation banning certain kinds of weapons. From having studied a lot of shootings... gun bans today wouldn't work. It is too easy to get them and modify them.
