It's not hard to imagine a scenario where migrant workers in the US are detained in ICE raids, thrown into Trump's migrant camps, then are sent off to work at the same farms and orchards they were originally picked up from, with the state taking what would have been their wage.

This may happen in some of the more backwards places. Farmers in less backwards places will need to be warned of catastrophic consequences for going along w this. Communities won’t take kindly to having their members enslaved.
