It’s an attractive distraction to focus on Muskolini, but all of the American right wing oligarchs who produced Project 2025 are still working on implementing it and other atrocities while not drawing attention to themselves or their machinations.
I'm not an Ivy League lawyer or anything, but I'm also pretty sure they didn't intend for the American president to be a king. Especially considering the risks they had run to get rid of the king they had.
You must need a refresher course from one of the five GOP Supreme Court justices who are ivy League lawyers. I recommend the opinion one of them wrote for the others in Trump v. US. It channels James Madison. Or maybe it's Thomas Jefferson. I forget.

And just in case that failed, the checks and balances they set up were supposed to provide some protections. That also fails when a single ideological movement or personality cult gets hold of all the levers. And here we are.

I think he is disqualified from serving as speaker because, in the event of a catastrophic event resulting in a vacancy in the Offices of the President and Vice President, he could not automatically ascend to President. It would cause a constitutional crisis.

So, he would, effectively, be out of the line of succession from Day 1? Somehow, that seems wrong but, as the 45th presidential administration demonstrated, there's a WHOLE lot of wrong in the Constitution.
The line of succession was never intended to restrict the people who can hold those positions.The Constitution does not require Cabinet members or Senators and Congressional reps to be natural born citizens. But only those who are in the line AND meet eligibility can become acting. He’d be skipped.
Secretary of State is in the line of succession and Madeline Albright and Henry Kissinger served in that position despite not being eligible to step into the Presidency. That’s why there’s a list of other positions.
I almost hesitate to give voice to this but, what would be the disincentive to only put those ineligible to serve in the presidency in positions that are in the line of succession? In that case no one could effectively remove a president under the 25th Amd. because there would be no successor.
They’d elect a new speaker.

Actually, the founders assumed that scoundrels would be elected to all political offices. Thus the checks and balances. See, e.g., Federalist #51. What they inadequately anticipated was two branches of government surrendering to the third.
Benjamin Franklin may have anticipated this in saying that the republic will come to an end when people figure out that they can vote themselves money. We live in the decline of the republic under exactly such terms.

The "well-regulated" and "shall not be infringed" can be seen as contradictory. The entire amendment is a mess and really should be re-written. Also, there are "arms" which we do not allow, (nukes, bombs, etc) and people we disarm (prisoners, certain felons, etc), so is there not "infringement"?

A person's gender identity is thier own. I've never thought of it as a disorder. It's just not the way I see myself. My personal opinion is some psychiatrist or psychologist calling something a disorder is irrelevant. Homosexuality and gender identity are not disorders to me.
