Sometimes you should approach sex like in porn, it's fun. This is weird as shit though. Who really the fuck is policing adults viewing? I keep tabs on what my kid watches, because he's a child, but when he's grown he can manage himself.

Yeah, but there's a difference between picking up a technique here and there, or making a kind of theatrical event of it, and expecting that sex HAS to replicate porn, especially when it comes to the way supermodels or trained actors can give people inferiority complexes if they compare themselves.
For sure. Zero argument. But it is fun to switch around every now and then and try new stuff. Leaving out the expectations(some stuff is going to be a miss for one or both(maybe more) people) and theatrics, it's fun.
Being realistic is the main thing. I play basketball sometimes, but I'm not hating myself for not hitting every shot or not being able to do cool dunks. I figured out what I'm good at and work it while picking up new tricks.
Exactly. It's a form of play. The moment it becomes a chore to any person in the bed, there's something wrong. It's fine to be dramatic about it if everyone is acting in the same scene. It's not cool if anyone is pushing scenes on the others.
I'm a big fan of predetermined opt-out methods. Like, saying the name of any fruit is a hard stop. As long as people are having fun together it's good, but yea anything someone isn't comfy with should be a stop and maybe a conversation.
Also, I derailed things a bit. Apologies to the thread for tangenting.
No worries at all!
