Audio is a different bird than text when it comes to presenting a final draft. You can edit—add extra sounds in, cut segments out—but you can’t exactly revise a conversation (not honestly, anyway) I guess that’s why people choose other formats than interviews
……………….just realized I need to actually be a skilled interviewer and not just a colleague and fan with questions 🤯🤯🤯
Totally agree. In fact a musicology colleague in the UK and myself have formed a company to consult on these skills. If people have interest, there is a public access document I can share which lays out some best practices.
Definitely, please!
And shoutout to the best audio editor of all time whose chief talent is making me sound less chaotic @fletcherpowell.bsky.social
Hey thanks!
No, no—we both know which direction the thanks flow 😆
It's mutually beneficial!
