The young people who would have been most likely to lead the domestic anti-fascist fight in 2025 were repeatedly arrested, beat, jailed, mocked by elites and non-elites over the past 5 years. This was bipartisan. I find it interesting whenever some people ask 'where the young people are' now.
Justice-minded folks have a habit of fetishizing youth participation and throwing masses of activated young people at a problem while pledging support and having reverence in the background. This leads to most of those young people getting ground under and burned out and leaving the work w in 5 yrs.

A good thread on the fall of UChicago. I'd add that they leaned harder into speech panic than perhaps any other major institution. It turns out, if you can believe it, that there were more pressing issues on campus.

Audio is a different bird than text when it comes to presenting a final draft. You can editāadd extra sounds in, cut segments outābut you canāt exactly revise a conversation (not honestly, anyway) I guess thatās why people choose other formats than interviews
