They wouldn’t necessarily know the full extent at the time of legal proceedings, especially with brain injuries.

We're over a year removed from the incident. The prosecutor has a really good idea of what the injuries are looking like at this point.

Not how brain injuries work. Moderate/severe traumatic brain injury can take more than a year to recover from.

Sure. What's the indication that we are dealing with a moderate/severe traumatic brain injury? You have any evidence that actually backs up your assertions? Have we heard any victims today saying this is a miscarriage of justice?

I’m just pointing out the fact that the prosecutes may not have a really good idea, as you claim, simply because we’re a year out. Not all medical issues resolve in a year.

I didn't say it would've resolved. But they would know if there was a serious/ongoing brain injury at this point.

Not necessarily. Hence why no one can definitely say the number of TBIs/severity of TBIs/duration until onset that determine conditions like say CTE.

Ok. You are talking about outlier things and kind of grasping at straws here. How long would you throw him in jail for?

it’s not an outlier thing. It’s par for the course with brain injuries. They are complicated, and not well understood by medical professionals let alone prosecutors. If someone is missing a limb that’s easy to see and convey how it impacts their life…

It’s not easy for ppl to express/understand brain injuries. Crashing at a high speed can change the trajectory of your brain functioning for life, nothing outlier about that possibility. How about a duration of time that would take football away from him. At least for a little lol

It's an outlier that we wouldn't already have symptoms/indication of a long-term injury, and prosecutors won't/shouldn't just assume CTE. Again, I ask, has any victim stepped up and said that this was a miscarriage of justice? And stop beating around the bush. How long? Say it with your chest.
