He’s actually been held in an ICE facility in Louisiana for four weeks now. He and his wife are big Trump supporters though, his wife voted for this and I have zero sympathy.

i have filed that form myself and I am telling you, he did not "forget". It's an expensive and difficult step - most likely, they couldn't afford it. the framing is nonsense. he KNEW he had been undocumented since 2016. That's not something you just "forget". He thought he was special.

I do feel bad for those kids: raised by nutcases, and now they're suddenly down a parent. They likely have no understanding of what's going on and are probably very scared. Unlike the parents, they didn't ask for this, but they're the ones who get to be burdened with lifelong trauma.
