Like after 2014 you mean and what was agreed in Budapest Memorandum and Minsk this and that. Putin has been going on for 3,5 years now and he has moved more backwards than forwards the last 3 years. He doesn't stand a chance to take Ukraine unless USA sides with Russia.

It will only be doable for a second. He plays the US and himself off of any map geopolitically. And when the consequences start to roll over Europe and Ukraine, he will be the guy that is blamed because it is his new buddies Russia doing all the bad stuff...not even half the MAGAs support that.
At that point the support of MAGA serfs probably do not matter any longer, when the new iron fist rule is consolidated sufficiently already. At some point Trump will not need support of plebs any longer, that is when elections altogether are being canceled in the future.
Prospect of dropping citizens support was hard even with good economy. With downing economy (as of now) this is whole new story :)
Let's remember neither Hitler nor Mussolini held genuine elections once their respective parties' power was consolidated and they did not need any more voting for legitimation. And did not have to fear losing majority in their sham parliaments for the rest of their dictatorships, ever.

Meeting in Alaska is an ‘appropriate’ location for Putin as he can smugly look around with an air of ‘one day soon, all this will be mine again’. The thought that RUSA coalition can carve up a third country with no input from that country is frigging outrageous.
Not sure this is true. Enough Europeans have met with Trump face to face to know that he is an unpredictable Putin apologist. He was always going to put himself centre stage for no reason other than self agrandissement.
