I tried to make chocolate mousse with sugar free hot cocoa mix in the Cool Whip. Acceptable but gritty. I gotta go back to the drawing board on that. AND, almost forgot, sugar free instant Jell-O in the Cool Whip, blend, chill. DELISH!
Maybe sugar free chocolate pudding with Cool Whip to get the chocolate mousse texture without the grittiness?

I don't know about that. Could be though because it's not real cream/dairy so it probably does have less carbs. I'm no expert, though. You'd have to compare the ingredients in your homemade whipped.

My "friend" who used to take me grocery shopping would not "let me" buy the cherries. I looked at the sugar/carbs on the back. Perfectly fine if you don't drink the jar in one sitting. I even get the regular Cool Whip or store brand, not the no sugar because it's usually a tad cheaper & STILL ok.

You're better at this than I am. I can't even keep cookies in the house. If I buy something sweet it's generally one portion.
Oh! In that case... If you have a dollar tree nearby, buy one of two little single serve cookie packs at a time so if you eat them all up you at least have to wait 'til you can get back to the store to buy more.

Another NONPROFESSIONAL NOT HEALTH ADVICE TIP. Put cinammon on your sweet stuff. A little cinnamon takes my sugar way down fast. Probably different for different people but I was putting it in coffee and had to stop because I was going low too often. Just ground cinnamon.
Yep, I'm all over the cinnamon, which I really love. I used to take it in capsule form. I can't remember why I stopped.
