Went to a cookout last night. We all use the same lawn service owned by a truly lovely man who happens to be from Hondouras. He hired a young helper a couple years ago. Helper recently went to immigration court just as he is supposed to. ICE got him and it makes my stomach hurt. 😩

Someday I'll tell you my story of my year of psychosis and how I stopped believing in diabetes and all medication, stopped eating and drank only stuff with sugar. My A1C was unbelievable. I'm right around 7 now. I'm lucky I'm not dead and no permanent damage to anything. That was a wild ride.
