UK inflation is 3.6%. Eurozone inflation is 2.0% The Bank of England interest rate is 4.25%. The ECB rate is 2.0% Brexit is costing the government around £50bn a year. We are paying a massive cost for not being in the EU and the Eurozone - higher inflation, interest rates, and taxes.

I thought the main reason you left the EU was because all the Europeans were coming in taking British jobs, right? So if you go back to the EU, you're gonna get poles, romanians and italians flooding in to take those british jobs again. Maybe you can go to Italy and work there?

there is no doubt that brexit was a massive self inflicted disaster, and it has cost the UK billions...... but your reasoning about inflation and interest rates being the reason is wrong..... even when UK was in Europe it didn't adopt the Euro so UK rates are and were going to be different......

It hasn't been any UK government's priority since Theresa May's speech just after the Brexit vote when she joyfully said the British people's priority was controlling immigration ABOVE improving the economy. The pound dropped (again) as she was speaking.
