Well that’s easy to say but if you are trying to act in the interests of the UK as a whole and you are up against the World’s super power who has no hesitation in making your Country and it’s people a lot worse off - what would you choose. The UK lost most of its influence by leaving the EU.

Maybe just takes time for the disparate EU and the UK to align and in the meantime Farage and his cohorts will do everything possible to stymie such an outcome.
The EU isn’t disparate. It’s U.K. led by Starmer who are acting in bad faith.
