Ugh. The first option on that link tells you to shut down immediately do a force shut down 3-4 times. You don’t need to boot into Windows. It assumes you can’t. Basically, the computer is supposed to realize something is wrong after 3-4 tries and automatically go into repair mode.

I tried that, it did nothing.

Sorry. Many computers come with a bootable repair disk on a usb drive? (they used to come with CDs).

Unfortunately it didn't. I may just have to let it sit until I can afford to take it somewhere. This is stressing me right out. 😕

I’m so sorry. It’s really hard to diagnose this stuff over the internet beyond the most basic solutions. It’s probably best if someone has the computer in front of them using their own repair tools. Its often something simple, if that’s any comfort.

That's what I'm afraid of. I hate to pay money I don't have for a problem I could fix if I just had the skills. Thank you though, for all of this. I appreciate it!

I don’t know the Dell warranty on this but if it’s less than a year old you could be covered.
