Stop to think about what has happened in the world since Israel was created? Pol Pot, Saddam, Apartheid in South Africa and Rhodesia, Rwanda Genocide, Rohingya and Bangladesh Genocide, USSR invasion of Afghanistan and more. All of these are half an Israel to the UNGA. explain that?

In fact the more I think of it the more the ICJ case makes me sick. Ireland is trying to figure out a way to legally pain an entire ethnic group, not just their leaders, but the NATION ITSELF as guilty of Genocide, something no court has ever said, not against Germany, Serbia, Rwanda, Pakistan

I was just reminding myself that up until 1998 what is now the second largest party in Ireland had active and close ties with the PLO, training and working with a group that targeted Israelis anywhere in the world. Not a good look to then be obsessed with Israel

Sinn Féin still has close ties with the PLO/PA. But I think you're referring to the terrorist activities of the PIRA and groups associated with PLO.

Go tell Israelis who have been murdered by the PLO the difference. Either way a 'classy human' which seems to describe no members of Irish ruling class, would have know when to keep out of something.

Ireland doesn't have a "ruling class", it's a republic. Every country has an obligation under international law to take appropriate action when state crimes like this are being perpetrated in contravention to various international conventions.

I found a real gem, it turns out that after Mountbatten's murder the PLO, long a very close group with the IRA, actually found they it embarrassing to be associated with the IRA and distanced themselves. The PLO found the IRA too violent. Ladies and gentlemen, Irelands second largest party

And lets not forget the context of history, Republicans and Zionist emerged at same time, Zionist restored their language, they secure all the land claims, the decided their borders, they welcome a huge influx of diaspora. All things the Republicans failed to do.

It shows the deep, deep resentment of Repubicans for Zionist. Both movements had essentially the same aims at the same, Republicans had to face civil war, and getting only some of heir objective letting the British decide Northern Ireland. The Zionis got everything and more.

I once saw a lecture about American policy with Israel during the 1967 war. At that time America and Israel were having warming relations after decades of mostly US indifferent. During the Vietnam war Amerians saw what Israel did in 1967 and there was deep resentment and frustation

It is pure racism. Genocide is a crime people perform, its like murder or rape, it is carried out be a group of people. Since WW2 this charge has been applied against name people, Ireland is trying to make Israel the first nation in history to be collectively guilty of Genocide. Fucking Mics,

A state (rather than a nation) could be found to have breached its international legal obligations by the ICJ e.g. by engaging in a genocide. Well if Ireland's interventions were successful and if the sequence of cases doesn't get disrupted, Israel would be the second state rather than the first...

Well firstly the Irish are not a race, their not even a culture. They are essentially British people some in a republic. All effort to establish some kind of unique Celtic identity failed and ultimately became nothing more than membership in the Catholic Church, and how did that work out.

IRA-Palesine ties aref funny beause essentially an Arab people living in a region that had always been part of another empire since the start of Islam, who speak Arabic and practice Sunni Islam, were more able to built an identity opposed to the Irish who really do have a unique buried identity

No such finding has ever been made by the ICJ. And the entire claim of Genocide is utterly problematic, a slur seeking a justification. There is nothing in the Gaza war that goes beyond war, the total population of Gazans, counting those who have left, has actually increased.

There is some kind of driving need to connect Israel to Genocide, I have found, and I am sure it will be the same for you, no body who uses this term can justify it in their own words. They just say 'some expert said' The term clearly comes from a need to equate Israel with the Nazis

The government of Israel would be found to be in breach of its international legal obligations. The ICJ doesn't make any findings about ethnic groups - that would obviously be a very odd function for an international court.

If south African and Ireland just wanted to make sure Israel followed its responsibilities under international law they don't need to also make a charge of Genocide, which they very clearly have, the Irish going to the point of asking the court to change the law to fit Genocide explicitly.

Joyce was right, on June 16 1904 Joyce gives us two radically different ideologies, the Tory headmaster Unionist and the Celtic Nationalist Citizen in the pub. They agree on nothing at all, but what makes them Irish, the both hate Jews and they speak English.
